Teachers Behind the Scenes

The first Sunday of every month, we don't have Specials (Art or Music) and we send the children home an hour earlier.  This allows the teaching staff time to meet and plan.  First the teachers meet with their own team, then the teachers meet together.  

Today the teachers discussed an article by Tali Zelkowicz, a Rabbi and Professor at Hebrew Union College, from Reform Judaism called Bringing Jewish Education into the World Students Inhabit.

I feel so lucky and privileged to work with a staff that is dedicated to Jewish education and to their students.   I am really proud of this team and their commitment to listening to each other, sharing ideas, and supporting each other.




Even though each child has only one of these teachers at a time, that same child's experience at Beit Sefer is influenced by everyone on this team.
