Knowledge and Food Drives!

There were so many exciting things that happened this past week at TBI!

First, the Gan students began their journey into finding their Jewish identities and their road to Jewish scholarship with the consecration service during Simchat Torah.

They all received their own Torahs and got to stand under the talis to be consecrated.

On Sunday we had a regular school-day after our fun all-school Sukkot program!  The fourth grade class performed in skits about knowledge and what it means to have knowledge.  Each group did a skit of a 'before' and 'after' they had knowledge.  Later the class discussed the importance of knowledge and how we use education to grow as Jews and as people.

Additionally, throughout the day, each class got a chance to help load the truck for the Pomona Valley Hope Partners' Food Drive.
