Kitah Bet and Gimmel recently created their own images
representing the days of Creation in Art class with Anat Levi.
First they
drew their pictures with pastel colors.
Next, they spread the colored
clay over their drawings.
Last, they used a skewer to etch lines into
their work.
After reviewing the days of Creation, each child was asked to select one day and to illustrate something that was created on that day.
Looking at these colorful pictures reminds me of the beauty of the world around us and how wonderous the world can seem through a child's eye.
