This year, Tu Bishevat fell on a Wednesday. Since we were in Beit Sefer at Tu Bishevat, our teachers planned a special program for the students on this theme. Each teacher presented a topic and activity related to the holiday. Classes rotated through three of the stations during a one hour period. 
This New Yorker enjoyed spending Tu Bishevat outside watching students create a classroom tree, learn about recycling, the environment and spend some time loving some trees.
I am so proud of the teachers for taking the initiative and putting the program together!
